
Amit Mehra (b. 1967) has been photographing for over thirty-two years. He specialises in architectural & hotel photography and has shot many international luxury hotels & resorts chains over his career.
These include - The Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, Marriott Hotels, Radisson, Hyatt, Ritz Carlton, Aman Resorts, Taj Hotels, Accor, EMAAR Dubai, DLF, Jet Airways, Pepsi, Reebok, Egyptian Tourism, MTPA (Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority), Incredible India & Turkish Tourism all across India, Dubai & Mauritius.”
He is equipped to handle any architectural & lifestyle assignment with his own in-house post production team. He has consistently delivered lifestyle and drone photography projects for his various clients too.
Besides hospitality, Mehra has shot various projects for the most celebrated architects.
Recipient of the award, Best Photographer of the Year – Asia in 2009 by the Sagamihara Museum, Japan, Mehra has time and again demonstrated the ease with which he traverses different genres of photography. His photographs are the part of the collection of the Gabarron Foundation, Spain and the Sagamihara Museum in Japan.
His work has also been published in Time, Der Spiegel, The Guardian, Architectural Digest, Elle Décor, Arch Daily, Dezeen, Monde, Condensate, Financial Times, London and National Geographic Traveler.
Amit’s photographs have been widely exhibited in New York, London, Tokyo, Madrid, Melbourne, Dhaka, Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai in solo shows.
Besides his commitments with the hospitality industry, he is currently documenting the colonial architecture of Bengal, India for his forthcoming book.
